Bogë · Albanian Alps · 1,400m
Where Albanian hospitality meets the raw beauty of the Accursed Mountains. Sleep in stone, wake to silence, eat from the land.
Our Story
Odat n Bogë is a family-run guesthouse perched in the ancient village of Bogë, deep in the Albanian Alps. The name means simply "the room in Bogë" — an oda, the traditional Albanian guest chamber, offered to travelers and strangers as a matter of honour.
We built every wall and laid every stone ourselves. The food comes from our garden and the farms of our neighbours. The trails outside our door have been walked for centuries. We offer something rare: a place that has not been invented for tourists.
"Besa — the Albanian word of honour. Our home is your home."

What Awaits
A Glimpse of Bogë
Our Kitchen
Everything we serve is traceable to within 20 kilometres. Our kitchen is built on the recipes of the village — slow-cooked lamb, wild herbs from the meadow, mountain cheese, fresh bread baked each morning.
We came for one night and stayed for five. The silence, the food, the kindness of the hosts — there is nowhere else in Albania like this.
Getting Here
Bogë sits in the Shkreli highlands, 30 km from Shkodra. The mountain road winds through gorge and forest — part of the journey, not just a route. Most guests drive from Shkodra; we can also arrange transfers on request.
